Design and photography have always been natural interets in my life because of their ability to express non-verbal stories. I love the captured emotions and the insights revealed about the people in the photographs. This interest led me to major in photography and design in college. Following graduation, as I balanced work and starting a family, I sometimes second-guessed not choosing a more “practical” degree. However, since starting my professional photography career (in conjunction with my children starting school), I’m thrilled with my decision. I love my work! It is a great satisfaction to collaborate with people and create compelling art on a daily basis.

I consult with each individual to discuss their portrait needs. I am interested in you, your portraits, and your personal style. I offer artistic feedback about everything from the clothes chosen for your session to the final placement in your home. My concern for you enables me to build connections that lead to capturing real emotions in your portraits.

In 2006, I set up a studio in my Oregon City neighborhood. I’m honored to be a merchant and artist for the community in which I live. I’m happy to provide it with a first-class portrait studio.
